We are a full-service interior design firm specializing in creating custom homes for busy professionals that harmonize beauty and functionality.
Led by Jasmine Galle, our team of experienced and top-notch designers has helped dozens of discerning clients create homes that are both visually stunning, remarkably functional and last the test of time.
With our light and welcoming transitional entryway collection, your entryway will be more than just a doorway with piles of stuff. As the initial space that welcomes your guests, your entryway sets the tone for the rest of your home and reflects your style.
Whether spacious and grand, or snug and cozy, entryways provide an opportunity to make people feel right at home, while also making a statement, showcasing beautiful furnishings and thoughtful décor. Of course, we always include functional pieces that can help conceal storage, or incorporate seating to take shoes on and off.
In our Light & Welcoming Transitional Entryway, we’re confident that our curated furnishings and decor will help create an entryway reflecting your unique style and warmth, leaving a lasting first impression on all your guests.
At the heart of our collection is the reclaimed pine Umber Console—a striking warm wood console, yet practical with ample storage. Above it, a generously sized (47″!) round mirror framed in sleek gold, reflecting light and a touch of elegance that contrasts beautifully with the rustic console. Softening the space is a charcoal and beige runner offering an elevated antique-inspired look, with a modern feel. Nestled beneath the console are a pair of suede ottomans for additional seating and storage when needed.
The Munby Table lamp, standing just over 30″ tall, accents the console to elevate the entry space. The lamp’s ceramic base, with its subtle texture and dark gray tones, creates depth as it contrasts with the rust-colored iron hues, perfectly complementing the natural linen shade. Accompanying the lamp is a petal-shaped marble bowl, perfect as the catchall for keys and loose change. Alongside the artisan-made in Agra, India, the black marble chain links for visual interest, adding a unique touch!
Moreover, a hand-sketched Grand Corridor art piece adds further depth without overwhelming the space. However, a landscape would also work well. Make sure to keep the colors somewhat muted and in the same palette as the rest of the pieces! Also, adding a vase, such as the Phonecian Tan Large Vase with its textural terracotta finish, adds instant patina and ancient charm.
If the space allows, consider incorporating a basket, chair, or large potted plant nearby. By adding elements of varying heights-such as the mirror, console, and basket, you can create a well-balanced space with added depth. In our collection, we added more texture with the basket (available as a set of two, offering an extra basket for use elsewhere), which is one of our favorite places to store extra blankets!
Now that you’ve explored our curated shop the look, it’s your turn to have some fun and create your own! Whether you go with our pieces or explore our collection for inspiration, start with an anchor piece—like a console or dresser—then complement it with a statement mirror, and a mix of functional and decorative items. Don’t forget to add a beautiful rug to tie the space together. You can play with different shapes and sizes, but we personally like large scale for drama!
With the elements in our Shop the Look, you’ll be well on your way to creating a light and welcoming entryway that reflects your personal style and hospitality. After all, your entryway is the gateway to your home—it should be as welcoming as you are!
