As we continue on inspiring design journeys, we’re expanding our Sage & Soul family! We’re searching for a Senior Interior Designer who is passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces and ready to bring energy, ideas, and expertise to every project.

At Sage & Soul Interiors, we don’t just design houses—we craft cozy, tailor-made homes that reflect the personality and lifestyle of each client. Our work blends creativity with practicality, balancing style and function in a way that feels timeless and personal. Our dedication to thoughtful design and exceptional service has earned us a trusted reputation throughout the Inland Northwest.

As a boutique, collaborative studio, we bring innovation, attention to detail, and a genuine love for what we do into every project. Our team thrives on creativity, care, and connection, making each project and every day exciting and fulfilling.

This role is ideal for a self-directed, detail-oriented designer who can confidently manage projects from start to finish. You’ll lead concept development, manage technical drawings and documentation, source and specify FF&E, and coordinate installations with precision and heart. This position is perfect for someone who loves the creative process but also thrives on organization, leadership, and detail-oriented execution—the backbone of every successful project.

As our Senior Designer, you’ll serve as both a key creative leader and a project manager, supporting our design team while guiding clients, contractors, and vendors through every phase. You’ll bring each client’s story to life through thoughtful design solutions while keeping budgets, timelines, and communication on track from start to finish.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Work on unique, high-touch projects that transform houses into personal sanctuaries.
  • Collaborate with a fun, supportive, and talented team that truly loves design.
  • Thrive in a creative environment where your ideas, experience, and design voice are valued.
  • Grow through professional development and hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Be part of a studio that celebrates wins big and small—from polished reveals to clever design solutions.

It All Starts Right Here.

  • Develop innovative and tailored design concepts that balance aesthetics with practicality, creating mood boards, finish palettes, and sketches that clearly communicate your vision.
  • Produce precise technical drawings and documentation—including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and custom cabinetry details—ensuring accuracy, code compliance, and clear communication with our construction partners.
  • Coordinate and specify FF&E selections, sourcing furnishings, fixtures, and finishes that reflect each project’s design direction while maintaining quality, sustainability, and budget goals.
  • Manage procurement and logistics—tracking purchase orders, delivery timelines, and installations with meticulous organization and proactive problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with contractors, trades, and vendors, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure seamless project execution and alignment across all teams.

  • Lead and support team members, offering guidance, reviewing drawings and design deliverables, and promoting collaboration and professional growth within the studio.
  • Oversee installation days, ensuring each space is styled, finished, and photographed to reflect the care and craftsmanship behind every Sage & Soul project.
  • Stay inspired and informed, continuously researching new materials, trends, and technologies to integrate fresh, innovative, and sustainable ideas into our work.
